Tis the Season for Charitable Giving

The time of year has arrived, where we as Catholics are called to support organizations that help those most in need in our community by providing resources that can improve one’s quality of life. It can be food, clothing, shelter, education, financial support or anything else that can be of aid. Charitable Giving is one of the most generous acts we as Catholics can provide.

The greatest thing about charitable giving is that it is undefined. It doesn’t have to be big, and everyone can support charitable giving in their own way. Even the slightest act of philanthropy has the same effect as any other bigger act. However, many find it is a tough task to complete. It requires the gifts of altruism, thoughtfulness and empathy, the kindest virtues of humankind. To attain them is difficult. If a man assumes his obligations, learns about his role to humanity and realizes how fortunate he is, he can easily be motivated to perform charity. Every religion mentions charity as an essential act of mankind. All one needs to be charitable is motivation and understanding to work for the betterment of others.

At CEA, we work for the betterment of others every day. Our schools, parishes, families and most importantly our students are the reason for our existence. We are honored to be able to educate others on the importance of quality, Catholic education, and the ability to receive it through scholarship assistance provided by our Arizona taxpayers.
As we move to the end of the year, and you are considering your options as a taxpayer, we hope you will join the CEA family and receive your dollar for dollar tax credit all while helping change the trajectory of a child’s life. The feeling of satisfaction is immeasurable, and the value of your gift is priceless.

Merry Christmas!
