Happy Saint Valentine’s Day! Saint Valentine was a 3rd-Century Roman Saint commemorated in Christianity on February 14 and has been associated with courtly love.
We are filled with another kind of love – love for one another, as we continue to lift others out of despair, loneliness, lack of education or opportunity. Thank you to our sister organizations in the Diocese of Phoenix who assist so many in our community.
Some exciting news for our organization this past month was when our Board of Director’s presented the Diocese of Phoenix’s Bishop Dolan and Superintendent of our Catholic Schools’ Domonic Salce a $5.1 million scholarship check for 3Q (pictured above). This year we will provide over 4,000 K-12 underserved students with over $22 million in scholarships!
You can change lives with us at no additional cost to you, just by redirecting your AZ state tax liability! Remember the Individual Tax Credit deadline is April 15th for Tax Year 2023. You can contribute on-line, by mail or by phone. Find more information here.
The Arizona Low-Income and Disabled/Displaced Corporate Tax Credit commitment deadline is June 30. We are blessed to partner with 130 + corporate partners; however the need in our schools increases each year.
