In the hustle and bustle of today’s world, it can become so easy for customers to rely on quick and easy service from large-scale businesses. The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC) seeks to remind us that supporting smaller businesses owned by minorities benefits not only the businesses but the consumers as well. They encourage the advancement of small businesses, connect business owners to enhance growth, and showcase the incredible contributions made by the Hispanic community.

Their Mission

The AZHCC aims to build relationships between themselves and business owners in order to promote small businesses success. They connect business owners to expand their professional networks and share experience and knowledge. Strengthening relationships is key between business owners and their communities to reach a wider audience.

How They Make It Happen

The AZHCC hosts a variety of events in order to achieve their goals. Numerous workshops and presentations that educate people on topics that range from internet safety to Feng Shui, give experts the opportunity to inform and make new connections. Examples of these events include the Business Diversity Summit and the Annual AZHCC Women on the Green. Additionally, the AZHCC works with Catholic Education Arizona in an effort to raise awareness for quality, Catholic education.

Fostering Success

The AZHCC works to ensure that today’s youth are equipped with proper knowledge, and afforded the opportunity, to become successful future entrepreneurs. They work with organizations to prepare young people for the workforce. Whether a child is receiving a Catholic education or entering a public college or university, the AZHCC wants to help. Those graduating from Catholic schools in the Diocese of Phoenix have a 99.4% graduation rate with 97% matriculating to higher education or military opportunities. The AZHCC provides multiple scholarships to Hispanic students in partnership with other organizations.

Arizona business owners and students alike are given the opportunity for success thanks to the dedication of the AZHCC. Catholic Education Arizona partners with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce because they share common goals and believe in the importance of investing in quality education and creating future leaders.
