Happy New Year!
2026 is here, and with it comes the grace of new beginnings—a fresh page waiting to be filled with hope, purpose, and God’s quiet guidance. As we welcome this new year, I am thinking of these intentions, and I’m honored to share them with you:
Embrace Change
Change is never easy. It often asks us to stretch, to grow, and to let go of what no longer serves us. But embracing change with courage and humility can bring profound peace. Strengthening our spirituality, recognizing where we can do better, and choosing to love more boldly all take effort—but they also bring joy, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose. The first step toward something greater often begins with acknowledging where we’ve stumbled and trusting that God will lead us forward.
Reflect and Plan
A new calendar year offers a meaningful pause—a moment to reflect.
What did 2025 teach us? What should we carry with us into 2026, and what is better left behind?
This is the perfect time to learn from both our victories and our challenges and set our direction for the year ahead. Look forward with hope, not backward with regret. And above all, never stop striving, never stop learning, and never stop believing in the good that lies ahead.
Faith First
In 2026, let us place faith at the center of everything we do. Trust in God’s steady hand, His timing, and His grace. If last year pulled you away from prayer, from quiet moments with the Lord, or from nurturing your spiritual life, there is no better time than now to return. Faith grounds us, strengthens us, and reminds us that we are never alone.
Self Care
This year, may we take intentional care of our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. These are not luxuries—they are necessities that allow us to live fully and generously.
So take that peaceful walk, read something that fills your mind, attend Mass, and cherish the company of those you love. Slow down and savor the moments that matter.
