What impact did Catholic education have on your life and career goals?

“I didn’t attend Catholic school myself, but I saw its effect clearly in the people around me — a consistency of character that stood out. When my wife and I were raising our family here in Arizona, we chose Catholic education for our children, elementary through high school, because of both the academic standard and everything that surrounds it: morality, respect for one another, and real spiritual guidance.”

“What it built in them was confidence — the kind that helped them navigate social media, peer pressure, and a culture that changes faster than any of us expected. Watching that take hold reinforced how I run my business. I’ve built Fasturtle around doing right by people, keeping commitments, and treating clients as long-term relationships rather than transactions. Those aren’t marketing principles. They’re the ones I saw modeled in Catholic education, and I’ve carried them into how we work every day.”

Why do you partner with Catholic Education Arizona?

“I partner with Catholic Education Arizona both professionally and personally because I believe in the value of a faith-based, high-quality education for the next generation of Phoenicians — and in giving back to the community where my family lives and my company does business.”

“Catholic Education Arizona is fiscally responsible and remarkably effective, and the impact on students and families is real. It’s also personal for us. When I was in the early years of building my company, Catholic Education Arizona made this education possible for our family. Our children have since graduated, and now we have the privilege of doing for someone else’s children what was done for ours. That’s not something I take lightly.”

What sets your business apart from other similar businesses in our community?

“Our commitment to our clients’ businesses — and to the people those businesses employ. Most companies looking for a marketing firm have been through a vendor relationship before, and they’re looking for something different: a partner who genuinely cares whether they grow.

“We don’t limit the conversation to revenue. We ask where they’re struggling, and when the answer is outside what we do, we connect them to someone in our partner network who can help. That’s the difference between selling a service and investing in a business. After 25 years in Phoenix, that approach is the reason our clients stay.“
