Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) has been blessed with over 100 corporate partners this past year.  Our corporate partners show a commitment to quality education for Arizona’s children by supporting the Low-Income Corporate Tax Credit.  Our students are forever grateful for their support! As we begin the next season of Corporate tax credit acquisition, we are excited to share some of the outreach we have been making in the Valley and throughout the state, “casting a wider net” to increase participation in the Individual and Corporate Tax Credits.

Early this fall, we began meeting with Parish Councils, School Boards, Faculties and Staffs to broaden awareness of the Corporate Tax Credit, Employee Payroll Deduction and the limitless possibilities that can result for schools with expanded participation.  We visited SS. Simon and Jude, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Seton Catholic Preparatory, OLPH Scottsdale, Annunciation, St. John Bosco, St. Catherine, Notre Dame Preparatory, St. Thomas Aquinas, St. John Paul II, and St. Gregory just to name a few. We ventured north and west, excited to bring knowledge of the Corporate tax credit throughout the state with visits to Immaculate Conception, Our Lady of the Lake, and Sacred Heart Catholic Schools.

Our visits have resulted in Corporate breakfast events bringing community members together, highlighting our schools, and educating potential corporate partners!  The buzz around this credit in the business community is picking up. Even though Catholic Education Arizona has been in business for 22 years, we are still sharing new information with core constituencies and new potential partners!

Additionally, our thought process gravitated to increasing our “ground game” and building our CEA army to reach more taxpayers. Who better to assist us than our CPAs, Finance Professionals, and Tax Preparers?  CEA began the quest to get in front of as many finance industry professionals as possible, which led to our sponsorship of the Arizona Society of CPAs, two speaking engagements, a variety of printed material, and a CEA hosted Webinar that provided multiple “touches” to some of our most valued champions!  The response has been tremendous, and we look forward to seeing the results of these efforts in the coming months.

We’d love to have you get involved with us!  If you want to help spread the word about the benefits of the tax credits, give me a call!  I promise, I’ll tell you something you did not know about how Catholic Education Arizona can be a beneficial partner for your parish, school, company, or household!
