Consuelo, Rene and Juan have been blessed to have the opportunity to attend St. John Vianney Catholic School in Goodyear, AZ.
My name is Monseraht Cardenas. I am a mother of 5 who moved from Oxnard, CA. As a little girl I always asked my parents why I couldn’t attend a Catholic School. Their answer was always “it’s to expensive, we don’t have that kind of money”. I grew up thinking private schools were only for the wealthier families. It was not until my family was blessed to have my niece attend St. John Vianney last year, that we found out that Catholic education is available to all families no matter what economic background you come from. We were given resources by the school of all the help that was available to us to be able to send our own children there.
What impact did Catholic schools have on you and your family?
I am always excited to see how my kids wake up wanting to go to school every morning. I have tears in my eyes watching them learn more about their faith and continue growing in their faith and education. St. John Vianney Catholic School is changing my kids and my family for the better.
Why was the opportunity to attend Catholic School important to you?
Growing in faith is very important for our family. Having my children attend a school that that educates them, gives them a safe space to learn, and helps them grow in their faith is a blessing. They are being nurtured on a day-to-day basis in body, mind, and soul, which is all a parent could ever desire for their children.
Accomplishments:
My five children are my accomplishments and being able to send them to a Catholic school where they grow in their faith is the best gift.
Future plans:
As a mother I would like to be involved in letting the world to know that there is hope for a better education.
Thank you for your support of the tax credit opportunity to help send children like mine to a Catholic School. We are blessed and cannot say Thank you enough! – The Cardenas Family
