PHOENIX, AZ (August 19, 2025) – Catholic Education Arizona is the proud recipient of two honorable awards this year. The Phoenix Business Journal has awarded them #5 in the Cultural/Education sector of their Book of Lists 2025. Nancy Padberg, MBA, President and CEO, was recognized by AZ Big Media as one of 2025’s Most Influential Women in Arizona.
This distinguished award from The Phoenix Business Journal underscores the vital impact of their work on communities across Arizona. It stands as a testament to the breadth and excellence of their efforts among the state’s leading non-profit organizations. Earning a place alongside much larger institutions—such as the Boys & Girls Club of Arizona at #4 and the Desert Botanical Garden at #6—places them in truly esteemed company.
Nancy Padberg shared, “I am incredibly proud of our team — their dedication to families, our mission, and to each other. Achievements like this are only possible when an organization fosters a healthy culture grounded in trust, respect, and mutual value. That foundation creates space for agility, innovation, and creativity to thrive.
AZ Big Media, recognizing Padberg for this exceptional award, acknowledges the leadership she has brought as President and CEO in bringing her vision of a healthy culture to fruition in all that she does. Selected from 2,200 women, it is an exceptional honor that she accepts with immense gratitude.
“Winning not just one, but two prestigious awards this year is a powerful affirmation of the extraordinary work our team does every day,” said Carol Trueg, Board Chair of Catholic Education Arizona. Trueg added, “It reflects our unwavering commitment to our mission, the strength of our partnerships, and the trust our community places in us.”
