PHOENIX, AZ (September 15th, 2022) – Catholic Education Arizona is keeping good company with its 2022 Rank #7 in Culture/Education organizations in Arizona, next to Desert Botanical Garden and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley.

Each year the Phoenix Business Journal Ranks the top Non-profit organizations overall and in select categories from around the valley. The list ranks nonprofits based on their 2021-2022 budget but also includes the data points of the number of local full-time employees, number of local part-time employees, number of 2021 local volunteers, top local executive, and board chair. During the fiscal year of 2021 Catholic Education Arizona raised $23.67 million and eleven total employees. This year CEA came in just below the Desert Botanical Garden and just above the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley.

Over the course of 25 years, Catholic Education Arizona has raised $313 million and awarded 148,000 scholarships. Individuals and corporations continue to support Catholic Education Arizona and the Diocesan schools because of their impressive results:

  • 99.4% graduation rate
  • 97% of graduates matriculate to higher education, trade school, or military service
  • 1000s of hours of community service are conducted annually
