PHOENIX, AZ (October 18, 2022) – Catholic Education Arizona (CEA), Arizona’s largest Catholic school tuition organization (STO), reminds business owners there is $14.2 million dollars remaining in Low-Income Corporate Tax Credit available to claim.

Nancy Padberg, President and CEO shared, “Each year, hundreds of Arizona companies redirect their state tax liabilities to help underserved families receive the education of their choice. This year, there is more opportunity to make a difference in lives as business owners can claim Arizona tax credits from the $14.2 million still available. My advice, hurry as it will go quickly.”

Tax Credit legislation allows individuals and corporations the ability to choose how a portion of their state tax dollars are spent. Interested S-, C- Corporations, LLCs filing as C or S-Corporations, and Insurance Companies that pay Premium Tax are all eligible to direct their entire state tax liability in the form of tuition scholarships for underserved students.

“Quality education changes lives, serves society and transforms culture.  All of us at Catholic Education Arizona are proud to help make this dream for many a reality,” added Deb Preach, Chief Operating Officer.

Individuals and Corporations continue to support Catholic Education Arizona and The Diocese of Phoenix Catholic schools because of their impressive results:

  • 99.4% graduation rate
  • 97% of graduates matriculate to higher education or military service
