Blessed Sacrament: Building a Foundation of Christian Values
Blessed Sacrament School is a Roman Catholic preschool and kindergarten dedicated to building a foundation of Christian values through a positive, nurturing environment. The school’s dedicated staff and small class sizes of 14-1 ensure that each and every child receives the care and individualized attention they need to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally.
Founded on growth
Established in the 1970s by the Diocese of Phoenix, Blessed Sacrament Preschool and Kindergarten was built to provide education to the children of the growing parish in North Scottsdale. The new parish, founded in 1974, was dubbed the Community of the Blessed Sacrament and consisted of families currently belonging to the St. Joseph and St. Maria Goretti parishes.
Attendance at masses in the new parish quickly rose to approximately 1,000 parishioners a week. About 500 parish children were educated in rented classrooms at Cocopah Elementary School.
Today, lea by director Heather Fraher, Blessed Sacrament Preschool and Kindergarten serves 41 students and is a member of the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Students are taught to be responsible citizens by demonstrating civic responsibility, sportsmanship, and camaraderie. Students are also taught critical thinking skills and learn to demonstrate organization, effective communication, and problem-solving skills.

That’s why the school offers an advanced curriculum integrating faith and community learning to help each student discover, concentrate, and make individual choices.
The curriculum at Blessed Sacrament strives to uphold Christian values through the Catholic worldview and presents the fundamental aspects of growth in all areas including spiritual, intellectual, cultural, social, and physical. The school’s experienced faculty presents students with a wide range of opportunities for growth following Diocesan and state guidelines.
