Located in Northern Arizona’s high desert in Sedona, AZ, St. John Vianney Sedona is a Roman Catholic church dedicated to learning, listening, praying, and working together to reach out to local communities to share the Good News. Led by Father Kieran Kleczewski and Father Venantius Yikore, the parish enjoys a daily mass at 8:00 AM Monday – Friday.
The parish is named for St. John Vianney who was appointed in 1817 as Pastor to Ars, a small town in France. St. John Vianney blended gentleness and strictness, upholding the Commandments with both uncompromising love and severity. He was dedicated to the care of souls and the rescuing of abandoned children, often hearing confessions for 12 to 17 hours a day and stopping only to preach. Following in St. John Vianney’s footsteps, the Sedona parish is dedicated to the care of its local community, offering a wide array of religious education opportunities for children and adults alike.
