Thanks to the support of Catholic Education Arizona (CEA), a dream that once felt out of reach has now become a reality for our family. With one son already in college and our youngest, Ethan, just beginning high school, the financial strain of providing quality education was overwhelming. But because of CEA, we were able to send Ethan to a Catholic school—something that has truly changed his life.
CEA has done more than just help with tuition; it has given Ethan a chance to thrive in ways he never did before. He struggled academically in the past, but since starting at his Catholic school, everything has changed. The smaller class sizes and the faith-based environment have made such a difference. He’s supported, encouraged, and seen for who he is—not just as a student, but as a whole person. It’s been such a blessing to watch him grow more confident and capable each day.
One of the highlights this year has been Ethan joining the school’s swim team. Being part of that team has brought out a whole new side of him. He’s found a sense of belonging, motivation, and pride in being part of something bigger than himself. The discipline of daily practice, the joy of competition, and the support of his teammates have added another layer of growth and development. It’s helping shape him into a well-rounded young man, and I truly believe that, along with the spiritual guidance he receives at school, this experience is giving him tools for a lifetime.
Catholic education means everything to me. In today’s world, where it often feels like moral values are slipping away, I’m incredibly grateful Ethan is surrounded by a school community that puts faith, compassion, and integrity at the center of everything. I want him to grow up knowing these values—living them, not just learning about them. These four years will lay the foundation for who he becomes as a man.
When asked how we would thank the donors who made this possible, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. “There are not enough words to thank you all,” we say. “The best gift you can give a child is a Catholic education. This isn’t just a temporary blessing—it’s something that will stay with them forever.” We hope others continue to support CEA through state tax credit contributions and donations, knowing the profound and lasting impact such generosity has on families like ours.”
