How has CEA helped make Catholic education attainable and affordable for your family?
CEA has been a blessing to our family! We have 6 beautiful girls, 5 of them currently in Catholic school. CEA funds help lower our tuition so we are able to continue sending all of our children to Catholic school. It is a priority for our family to make sure that our children attend a school that is faith filled and teaches with love and brings Jesus into the classroom on a daily basis.
Why is this opportunity important to you?
Our oldest daughter tried a charter school for one year and begged to go back to her Catholic school. She missed the prayer time in the classroom, weekly mass and the fellowship with students that were like minded. She felt a different level of acceptance and comfortability in her Catholic school setting and expressed that her Catholic school teachers were more like friends and cared about her and her family.
How would you thank those that have helped make your education possible through their state tax dollars and encourage them to continue to support Catholic Education Arizona?
I think as Catholics we are all called to help others and to serve the Lord. The gift of financial donations to CEA allows large families like ours to provide a safe, Christ filled classroom to our children where they can learn about their faith on a daily basis. Donors are always looking for safe places to donate money that will actually serve a specific community and make an impact and there is no better example of this than CEA.
