I would like to start this testimony first saying that I believe the people working in Catholic Education Arizona, and its donors are angels walking on this earth. Thank you for the opportunity to write this testimony.
How has CEA helped make Catholic education attainable and affordable for your family?
CEA has helped me afford paying for my daughter’s Catholic education since the first grade at Saint Theresa Catholic Church. After finishing Preschool, pre-k and Kindergarten at this school I knew it was the right choice for my daughter to stay all her elementary years here.
What does a Catholic education mean to you and your family?
It means everything to us. As a Peruvian immigrant who also went to Catholic school as a kid, I knew it was my duty as a server of the lord our father to make sure my daughter received the same foundation in faith. She actually taught me the prayers in the English language and we attend Sunday mass every week.
Why is this opportunity important to you?
I truly cannot thank Catholic Education Arizona enough for this opportunity. Saint Theresa Catholic school is worth every penny, they are an incredible school and community of Catholic religion faith education. This is the most important thing to us. God comes first in our lives and being able to provide this for my child is priceless.
How would you thank those that have helped make your education possible through their state tax dollars and encourage them to continue to support Catholic Education Arizona?
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this a possibility for my family. I would like to say that I pray every day for God to protect you and continue to abundantly provide for you so you can keep your generosity and selflessness. I can guarantee you, sometimes they say you can’t change the world. But you have, one child at a time. It’s been my own blessed journey to witness my own child growing in the spirit of the lord and for Gods greatest glory. She prays every day and every night, she always reminds me even on tough days, of God’s love and mercy for us. At her mere 8 years of life, she has such a strong devotion to God. Yes, I inculcate these values on my daughter, but reinforcing them at school is an absolute blessing. Thank you. Thank you so much, and May God continue to bless you.
