This year’s graduates are living examples of our school’s mission statement: “….discovering and developing their God-given potential through a college-preparatory curriculum and the teachings of Jesus Christ.” BC grads of 2023 are venturing out to serve the Lord and to make the world a better place.
Bourgade Catholic High School is proud of the 86 scholars who graduated on May 25, 2023. Our graduates are attending colleges and universities throughout Arizona, across the country, and around the world. BC grads of 2023 are venturing out to serve the Lord and to make the world a better place. As a class, this year’s graduates have earned approximately $34 million in scholarship dollars. Seven Golden Eagles have received athletic scholarships and will be competing at the next level, and many have earned enough merit-based scholarship awards to attend the college of their choice with a “full ride.”
“To the class of 2023, on behalf of the Bourgade Catholic High School faculty and staff, I am honored to congratulate the graduating Class of 2023 for their achievements these past four years and those successes yet to come in their futures!”
-Tom Brennan, Principal
Bourgade Catholic opened its doors in 1962 to students who were taught by the Marist Priests and Brothers, the Sisters of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary, sisters from the Congregation of the Humility of Mary, and several lay educators. In 1972, the Holy Cross Community of Priests from the University of Notre Dame assumed the administration of the school. From 1988 to 2011, the principal of Bourgade Catholic was a member of the community of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
