PHOENIX, AZ (July 2, 2026) — As Catholic Education Arizona (CEA) celebrates its 30th Anniversary, the organization is proud to welcome Mary Jane Rynd and Jeronimo Gomez del Campo to its Board of Directors. Both leaders bring distinguished professional experience and a deep commitment to advancing educational opportunity through Catholic education.

For three decades, CEA’s Board of Directors has played a vital role in guiding the organization’s growth and in strengthening its mission to expand access to Catholic education through scholarship support. Mary Jane and Jeronimo join a dedicated group of business and community leaders whose expertise and passion will help shape CEA’s future.

Mary Jane Rynd serves on the Audit and Investment Committees of the Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. Prior to her retirement in 2023, she served as the Trust’s President and CEO, after serving as its first Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President. A Certified Public Accountant (Ret.), Rynd has served on numerous nonprofit and corporate boards and continues to contribute her expertise through a variety of boards. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, and a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Texas.

Jeronimo Gomez del Campo is a Partner at Gomez del Campo & Moreno LLP, where he specializes in international legal counsel. He earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Law and Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center and a Juris Doctor-equivalent law degree from the Universidad de Monterrey. Throughout his legal career, he has served as an International Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP in Washington, D.C., and as counsel at Bryan Cave LLP based in Phoenix, advising clients on complex cross-border transactions, project finance and trade litigation. Jeronimo has also served on various nonprofit boards of community service-oriented institutions.
