With Make-A-Will Month coming to a close, now is a meaningful time to consider creating a legacy that continues your impact for generations to come. By including our Changing Lives with Legacy division in your will, you can change the lives of underserved, disabled, and foster children in Arizona for years to follow.

As you begin the process, consider asking your attorney these questions:

  • What estate planning documents do I need? Ask which documents are necessary for your circumstances, including a will, trust, power of attorney, or healthcare directive.
  • Who should I name as beneficiaries? Your attorney can help you understand how to designate beneficiaries, so your wishes are reflected throughout your estate plan.
  • Are there tax considerations I should know about? Ask whether your estate may be subject to taxes, and if there are strategies that can help maximize what you leave behind.
  • How can I include the causes I care about? If helping underserved children access a Catholic education is important to you, ask how to include Changing Lives with Legacy through a specific gift or percentage of your estate.
  • When should I update my estate plan? When major life events occur, such as marriage, the birth of a child or grandchild, changes in finances, or a move, it may be a good time to review your plan.

Thinking about planning your legacy? Contact our Development team today at legacy@ceaz.org or call (602) 218-6542 and ask to speak with the Changing Lives with Legacy team. You can be the reason children have access to a faith-filled, life-changing education.
