Deb Preach, Chief Development Officer

“I am starting my fourth year with Catholic Education Arizona and currently serve as the Chief Development Officer and School Liaison.  My role includes all things scholarship related, FAIR administration, Marketing and Development administration, Corporate Acquisition and retention, Sponsorships, School and Diocese Relationships, HR / Payroll, Community awareness and education.”

“I have been with the Diocese full time since 1991 and part-time since 1987.  I have worked in the areas of school admissions and finance at St. Jerome Catholic School, as well as the position of the Diocese of Phoenix CYAA Athletic Director, which I held for 15 years until July of 2019.  I have served on the CYAA Executive Board of Directors since 2004.  Prior to working for the Diocese, I worked for APS as a statewide operations dispatcher, residential and commercial bill inquiry analyst, and in the customer call center.”

“I am a native Arizonan and attended St. Jerome and Bourgade Catholic High School in Phoenix.  I have been married to my husband Brett (who also attended St. Jerome), for 33 years and have four wonderful daughters and a son-in-law ranging in age from 28-31. Our girls attended St. Jerome School and played volleyball while attending Xavier College Preparatory.  We are ASU, and GCU alumni collectively (with a little LA Tech, too).  I sing and play the guitar, and am excited to be a grandma in April 2020!”

“Faith and family are priorities in my life, and I believe they go hand in hand.  Faith helps determine the course of life and is the one thing that can be depended upon during times of difficulty.”
