Thanksgiving has deep roots in religious tradition and is a great time to appreciate the traditions and blessings that have been bestowed upon us. It is a time for families and communities to gather and appreciate each other.
At CEA, we are taking time this year in thanksgiving to appreciate the history that we have made over the past 25 years bringing quality education within reach for thousands of families. Additionally, we are grateful for school choice legislation that has been passed by the State of Arizona this year, increasing options for families to provide the education best suited to meet the needs of their children, regardless of income. This historic opportunity will allow us to serve more students, and we are excited to be the largest Catholic STO leading the way into the future!
Our promotions at Parishes, Schools and Businesses have begun, and our Individual Tax Credit Renewal Campaign is in full swing. As the charitable season for giving commences and donation requests arrive in your mailboxes, please remember that CEA is the Catholic Organization supporting education that is part of the Arizona Tax Credit program. While other worthwhile Diocesan educational causes exist, it is important to clarify that they are not part of the Private Education Tax Credit and would be a sacrificial gift, not a dollar-for-dollar tax credit offered through CEA support. Finally, some timely news for business owners: With $10.5 million remaining, we are excited for the opportunity to increase our Low-Income Corporate Tax Credit commitments and welcome the opportunity to speak to eligible corporations that want to change lives and create future leaders with CEA!
