What impact did Catholic education have on your life and career goals?

I didn’t realize until I was in my 20s the impact Catholic education had on my life. I loved my Catholic school elementary and high school experiences in the Archdiocese of Chicago and am grateful for the investment my parents made to send me and my two sisters. However, it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized how the influence of my education formed my personal and professional decisions and the way I looked at the world around me.

Catholic schools formed my worldview, creating embedded expectations for myself and others to contribute positively to the world and to serve others with the gifts and talents entrusted to us by God. I carried this philosophy with me into the classroom and in school settings as a principal, assistant superintendent, and now as an educational consultant, coach, and professional development specialist. I am who I am, serve as I do, and believe in building up the strengths in students, teachers, and leaders because of my Catholic educational foundation.

Why do you partner with Catholic Education Arizona?

Catholic Education Arizona serves students and families in such a unique way, allowing families to be in control of how their child is formed in alignment with a Catholic worldview. I have personally known those who work at CEA as colleagues and friends for many years, so it is a privilege to entrust them with a financial contribution that I know goes to a mission I believe in. My company’s contribution goes toward he Disabled/Displaced fund, which is something I am so proud CEA supports!

What sets your business apart from other similar businesses in our community?

What sets my business apart is that my co-managing partner Crystal Brooks and I have a unique business mission. Our goals is to work with private faith-based schools to increase capacity and develop systems that support students with disabilities and unique learning needs. I know of few other business that do what we do! Though we work all over the country, we are proud to serve schools and families in our home diocese. CEA’s disabled displaced scholarships give parents the option to place their children in Catholic schools. My company helps schools to serve those families well.
