Dear Friends,

There is much to celebrate in the Diocese of Phoenix and city right now!  Several nominations, awards and promotions announced over past couple weeks. I admire the leadership, quality, integrity, and commitment I have witnessed to improving our community, students’ and families’ lives as well as commerce.

Congratulations to my colleagues Dr. Maria Chavira, Chancellor, Diocese of Phoenix and Monica Villalobos, CEO Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on your ATHENA nominations from Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce! It’s an honor to be in your company.

Congratulations to Mary Jane Rynd, CEO, Virginia Piper Trust on her retirement, to Steve Zabilski incoming CEO, Virginia Piper Trust and to Paul Mulligan, CEO Catholic Charities as new Virginia Piper Trust, Trustee. All extraordinary leaders, colleagues, and friends. Thank you for making a difference in our community each day!
