Question #1 for Parent/Guardian: How has CEA helped make Catholic education attainable and affordable for your family?

We are grateful to have CEA Scholarships as an option for our children’s Catholic education.  Strengthening our faith as a family has always been a priority to my husband and me.  Faith and education ultimately start in the home but fostering it through a Catholic education has always been important to us.  Unfortunately for many, affording a Catholic education is a challenge Catholic families face, including ours.  Having 3 children, all who began their education in Catholic schools, it became a financial stress as our family grew.  Without the help of CEA, we couldn’t make it possible to witness all 3 of our daughters experience the beauty of a Catholic education.

Question #2 for Student: What does a Catholic education mean to you and your family?

“A Catholic education means being given the opportunity to take my faith to another level. I get to take theology classes, go to monthly masses, along with many volunteer opportunities to grow. My family and I grow in the Light of Christ through all of these opportunities.”

Question #3 for Student: Why is this opportunity important to you?

“This opportunity is important to me because my faith is important to me and I enjoy pursuing it. God inspires me and watches over. Being his servant is most important to me.”

Question #4 for the whole Family: How would you thank those that have helped make your education possible through their state tax dollars and encourage them to continue to support Catholic Education Arizona?

Beyond just the words, “Thank You”, which is also very important, we routinely show our gratitude through our actions, by being the hands and feet of Christ.  Giving back to others through volunteering, fostering our Catholic faith beyond the classroom, sharing with others the wonderful experiences our children have had in Catholic schools and how it has enriched our family.  Reminding people there are many families experiencing financial hardship that would love nothing more than to give their child(ren) a Catholic education.  Without their state tax dollars and prayerful support, this would not be possible for many of us.

Thank you for this opportunity.
