With three daughters in Phoenix Catholic schools, the Cruz-Patino family are firm believers in the importance of Catholic education. “We are a dual-working family. However, our finances do not allow us to save enough money to pay for the full tuition costs,” they said. The family tells contributors, “We thank you. Without your financial support, we would not be able to have our daughters in private Catholic schools.”
Attending Catholic school has given me the most incredible opportunities to grow as a student, leader, and disciple of Christ. I am beyond grateful for this community and their endless support. Every day is a new opportunity to challenge myself to reach my fullest God-given potential. While I am extremely grateful to be recognized as Valedictorian of NDP’s Class of 2024 among other academic achievements, my goal has always been to continue growing and taking the steps towards becoming who God intended me to be. My education has always been grounded in my faith, and my identity as a disciple is an indispensable part of who I am today.

That as much as you can, to be mindful of the legislation in AZ, toward a continuation of the Private Education Tax Credit incentive afforded, which helps so many kids in Arizona have access to Catholic education.”
Attending Catholic schools helped me maintain my faith in everyday life by providing a strong spiritual foundation and reinforcing religious values. This environment also encouraged my family to actively participate in community activities through our parish. Through these engagements, we connected with other church members who have since become lifelong friends.
